SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS SERVICES

The focus of this program is on planned developmental activities and will be conducted in small groups. This program allows all children to develop age appropriate skills as well as to participate in enrichment activities. These programs help bring out the best in children to maintain a balance between activities of daily living & academic skills.

Children will be interacting positively, making friends and learning from a diverse group of children in a “STIMULATING ENVIORNMENT,” They will grow and learn physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially alongside his/her peers.
Many children will have special educational needs of some kind during their education. Schools and other organizations can help most children overcome the barriers their difficulties present quickly and easily. A few children will need extra help for some or all of their time in school.

So special educational needs caters to children having:

• Learning difficulties – in acquiring basic skills in school
• Emotional and Behavioral difficulties – making friends or relating to adults or behaving properly in school
• Specific learning difficulty – with reading, writing, number work or understanding information
• Sensory or physical needs - such as hearing or visual impairment, which might affect them in school
• Communication problems – in expressing themselves or understanding what others are saying
• Medical or Health conditions – which may slow down a child’s progress and/or involves treatment that affects his or her education.

Special Education services are further divided into two groups:

• Creative Caterpillars (6years onwards)
• Dynamic Dolphins (8 years onwards)

Creative Caterpillar & Dynamic Dolphins program ensures to nurture self esteem of the students, monitor student progress, and implement a student based meaningful curriculum, devise effective learning strategies for students, establish high levels of expectations of all concerned, develop high levels of accountability, effective leadership and team work and inculcating a strong partnership between the school, parent and the student.

We believe in giving equal opportunities to all children without discrimination. This unique setup of specially designed activities is a landmark of modern education. Each child is treated on a case-to-case basis and a comprehensive individual education program (IEP) is evolved for the child.

The teachers training these Differently-Abled children are specially trained professionals who groom these children with compassion and dedication.
