Physiotherapy

Physical therapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, treatment, habilitation and rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy deals with the physical ability of children with developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders as well as musculoskeletal disorders.

The role of physiotherapist starts from the initial evaluation of the child ranging from physical assessment to the comprehensive intervention for improving the physical condition of the child.

The physical assessment conducted by a physiotherapist includes sensory and motor assessment including the reflex evaluation, gross and fine motor skill measure, posture and gait analysis, and balance and coordination evaluation.

Physiotherapy is concerned with improving the tonal abnormalities, strength, mobility, balance and coordination, thereby rehabilitating the child physically improving their gross motor skills and making them functionally abled.

We believe in the concept of adding life to the years of a functionally disabled child, thereby making the disabled child differently abled.
